We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests while maintaining comfort. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special events. Assist in managing the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, hours of operation, and reservations. Utilize POS systems for managing seating charts and tracking guest flow efficiently. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurants or hotels. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and delivering excellent guest services. Familiarity with food service operations is an advantage, including knowledge of menu items and dining protocols. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
