Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, polished, and guest-focused individual to join the Mati team as a Host.

The ideal candidate has

previous experience in a fine-dining, high-volume, upscale restaurant

, and brings a professional, self-managed approach to every shift. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences is essential.
Must have open availability -- daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Warmly welcome guests and set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Seat guests efficiently while managing the floor plan and flow of service. Monitor dining room activity to anticipate needs and maintain smooth operations. Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism, warmth, and urgency. Perform opening and closing duties as required. Assist with side work such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware. Support fellow team members and collaborate across departments to optimize service.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a host/hostess in a fine-dining or upscale, high-volume restaurant is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to self-manage, stay composed under pressure, and maintain a professional presence.
