At Piper Arms, the first smile our guests see is yours. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic individual to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. As a Host/Hostess, you will set the tone for the entire dining experience, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.

We are currently seeking a customer-focused

Host / Hostess

to join our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests warmly and promptly upon their arrival. Manage the reservation system, answer phone calls, and record guest inquiries accurately. Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and ensure they are comfortable. Manage the seating chart and table rotation to ensure efficient and even service for all sections. Provide accurate wait time estimates and manage the waiting list during busy periods. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby and host stand. Bid a genuine farewell to all departing guests and invite them to return. Work collaboratively with servers and management to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a host, reception, or other customer-facing role is an asset. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a warm and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive, patient, and hospitable attitude. A flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
