Host/Host Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant/hotel
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices
