Duties

Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a positive first impression. Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere Manage the waiting list during peak hours, estimating wait times, and updating guests Answer basic inquiries about the restaurant, menu, and special promotions Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. Support the restaurant team during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems, enhancing efficiency in managing orders and payments. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. A passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential. Ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure. Punctuality and reliability
