Duties

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and assisting with reservations or inquiries. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow. Assist guests with any requests or concerns, demonstrating excellent guest services skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is inviting for guests. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Proficiency in using POS systems for managing reservations and orders is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and staff alike. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
