Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for our restaurant, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times effectively to guests. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Utilize phone etiquette when answering calls for reservations or inquiries.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere are essential.
