Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on guest services, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements. Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions. Maintain an organized front-of-house area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for guests. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to manage orders and payments when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with POS systems is beneficial; knowledge of Micros POS is a plus. A background in restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
