Job Summary:

As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a key role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience. We are looking for a polished, professional, and warm individual who can provide an outstanding first impression and manage the flow of the dining room with grace and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival Manage reservations and waitlists using the Open Table Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover and exceptional service Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and entrance area Provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during their wait Communicate effectively with servers, management, and kitchen staff Uphold the high standards of service and hospitality that Via Allegro is known for

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and demeanor Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Passion for hospitality and a team-oriented attitude
