Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on the right foot. This is an important role in creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for our guests. Duties: - Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude - Escort guests to their tables and provide menus - Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements - Assist in coordinating reservations and special requests - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Skills: - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality - Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is a plus - Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and seating assignments - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly - Knowledge of food service procedures and basic food safety guidelines We offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth within our organization.
