Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostesses to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the smooth flow of the dining experience. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication skills and familiarity with restaurant POS systems. The Host/Hostesses will serve as the first point of contact for guests, making their experience memorable from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing a positive first impression Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover Maintain a clean and organized host stand area Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with inquiries, and handle reservations Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction Monitor waiting lists and communicate wait times accurately to guests Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Utilize POS systems for reservations or guest check-ins when necessary

Experience

Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is a plus Experience in food service, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: $16.50 per hour
