Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart. Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Assist with food service as needed, including delivering menus and taking drink orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Support other restaurant staff during busy periods to enhance overall guest experience.

Skills

Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality. Proficient in using POS systems for managing orders and payments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently while remaining calm under pressure. A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience. Knowledge of food service operations is a plus.
