As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on availability and guest preferences.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about reservations and wait times.
• Support the restaurant team by helping with food service during peak hours as needed.
• Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a great team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
