We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. This role is essential in maintaining a positive atmosphere and facilitating smooth operations within our restaurant.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu offerings.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns with a focus on excellent customer service.
Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and guest information.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in hotel or restaurant settings, is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with food service operations and guest services will be advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of phone etiquette to manage incoming calls professionally.
