As the first face our guests see, you'll be the welcoming committee--greeting folks with a smile, helping them find the perfect spot inside or out on the patio, and making sure everyone feels right at home. You'll also be the voice on the other end of the phone, answering questions and managing reservations like a pro.

When guests are done enjoying their brews and bites, you'll help keep things tidy and ready for the next round. You'll also be the go-to person for guests wanting to buy OYB Merch and Cold Beer to Go--because who doesn't love taking a little piece of the brewery home?

Behind the scenes, you'll help keep the good times rolling by making sure the kitchen and front-of-house are in sync, and that every plate of food gets to the right table, hot and delicious. It's a fast-paced gig, but if you're someone who thrives on energy, teamwork, and a little hustle, you'll fit right in.

This position reports to the General Manager, Assistant General Manager(s), Shift Lead(s), Hospitality Manager and alternatively the Managing Partner as needed. This role will additionally work collaboratively with all other team members of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers to the restaurant; engage in friendly conversations and build relationships with new and reoccurring customers. Guide customers to tables, manage reservations and communicate with Servers about when a new party has arrived. Oversee and manage beer and merch sales from our OYB Merch and Cold Beer Cooler. Perform other various duties such as: Monitor overall restaurant activity, and inspect menus for cleanliness Ensure the efficient flow of food orders from the servers and kitchen is done accurately. Ensure dishes are executed correctly, on time, and are delivered to customers with perfection. Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing. Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning. Liaise important information between the kitchen and serving team (e.g. when a customer has a particular request). Handle complaints from customers to preserve the restaurant's reputation Support other tasks as needed (e.g. phone orders).

Qualifications:

Can provide excellent customer service and have no problem going above and beyond! Be high energy and performance-driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement along with the ability to work in a team environment. Well-organized and ability to lead and direct when necessary to problem solve. Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities. Flexible, Dependable, and dedicated. Ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills. Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
This is a seasonal position for the Holidays; however it has the potential to become a permanent role.
