We are seeking a

experienced, friendly and enthusiastic Host/Server

to join our new Indian Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong background in hospitality. As a Host/Server, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout their dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow. Provide menu information and answer any questions regarding food and beverage offerings. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring timely service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests as they arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant protocols and customer service standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment

of at least 1 year is required

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with basic phone etiquette for handling reservations or inquiries. A background in hospitality or hotel services will be advantageous in providing exceptional guest experiences. Must possess a positive attitude, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate teamwork skills.
