Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. (possible shifts Thursday day/evening shifts and Sunday day/evening shifts).

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your warm welcome and attentive service will ensure that every guest feels valued and appreciated.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the restaurant's POS system. Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about the menu and restaurant policies. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality.

Requirements

Previous experience in guest services or customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Must be bilingual (french/english) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a passion for helping others, ensuring every guest has an enjoyable experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.25-$22.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
