Rumi is looking for a Part-Time Host to join our team at our new location in Ottawa, ON!

This is an entry level position, so Part-Time is required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests, answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and text messages. Prepare and serve guests. Cleaning duties will include but not limited to dining room, kitchen, and pantry duties. General cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, or sweeping. Other tasks as assigned by the front desk or management as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required. Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more) and lift up to 50 pounds. Rumi restaurant is a fast-growing, national company with over a decade of experience serving independent restaurants.
