A bold new dining experience is coming to life inside Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer, where vibrant energy, elevated hospitality, and unapologetic flavour come together. Located within Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer, this new restaurant blends stylish design, warm service, and a high-impact culinary vision to create something truly memorable. This is more than just a hotel restaurant, it's a social destination designed to surprise, delight, and connect guests through food, atmosphere, and experience. With the support of Germain Hotels and their operating partner, this concept will bring a fresh, modern perspective to Toronto's dining scene from the heart of the Entertainment District. We're building a vibrant new restaurant at Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer, a space where bold creativity, team culture, and guest connection take centre stage.

Do you have good interpersonal skills and like to please people with simple gestures that make them smile? We're looking for a spirited Host or Hostess with a genuine love of customer service. They ensure that every guest feels warmly welcomed and valued by creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Take care of guests from arrival to departure from the restaurant or bar by actively listening, sharing sound advice and proactively responding to their requests. Accompany guests on their journeys: show them the way, lead them to their table, etc. Organize the seating plan to maximize occupancy. Answer the phone with a smile in your voice. Manage reservations and waiting list. Coordinate room management with servers to ensure smooth flow.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

High school diploma or equivalent experience Restaurant experience an asset Excellent stress and pressure management skills Good physical condition: standing for long periods of time Positive, trustworthy attitude and ability to work as part of a team
