Hilton Garden Inn Fredericton Downtown is looking for a full time Host to join our team. Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival Provide expertise on food and beverage menu items to assist guests with their choices and ensure they are aware of the daily specials Monitor tables to ensure the patrons are satisfied Clear tables promptly and replenish supplies as needed Perform daily side duties as necessary and when asked Process guest checks and collections of their payments ensuring accuracy Address guest concerns, if any in a positive and helpful manner Work and communicate in a professional and ethical manner Adhere to and maintain company policies and provincial regulations concerning alcohol consumption, health and safety Run procedural protocols to open and close as necessary Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications:

Previous food and beverage experience Ability to handle difficult situations, accommodate special requests Professional in appearance and demeanor Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including weeknights and weekends A strong desire to exceed guest expectations Ability to speak in both official languages is considered an asset

Pay: $16.52 per hour
