The Host is responsible for assisting with the efficient and effective day to day customer management of the FARO. This will include greeting and seating guests in a timely and professional manner and assisting with any guest requests.
Open availability will be required for this position.
Responsibilities
Graciously welcome guests as they arrive while assessing their needs and directing them to the F&B outlet that best suits their requests
Keep reservation and wait list details organized and properly communicated to the team
Answer guest questions and manage special requests
Be informed about all areas and offerings of the hotel and be able to direct guests appropriately
Assist the F&B team in whatever way is needed
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a luxury hotel.
Sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience.
Highly organized, able to prioritize the guest experience while supporting the F&B service team
Proven ability to multi-task and set priorities based on a constantly changing business environment.
Effective decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
Open availability will be required.
