Duties

Greet guests warmly with a lively and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service from arrival to departure Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal flow and comfort for all visitors Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with clear communication and friendly professionalism Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and providing information about services offered Support restaurant operations by coordinating with team members to ensure timely seating and service flow

Experience

Prior experience as a host or host in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in fast-paced environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in hotel or hospitality environments enhances guest interaction skills Strong phone etiquette and guest relations abilities are essential for success in this role Previous food service or serving experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
