Hospitality Manager -- Marble Mountain Estates

Marble Mountain Estates (MME) is a premium winery, event, and hospitality destination overlooking the stunning Bras d'Or Lake. We offer a world-class East Coast experience through exceptional wine, warm service, scenic accommodations, and unforgettable events. We're growing fast -- and we're looking for a driven, hospitality-minded General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and elevate every guest experience on our property. What You'll DoLead the Experience

o Deliver a guest experience that rivals the best in Atlantic Canada -- every interaction, every touchpoint.

o Set and uphold high service standards across main lodge, events, food accommodations, and guest areas.

o Build and maintain a culture rooted in hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail.

Oversee offsite sales including online, NSLC and partnered establishments across Cape Breton.

Operations & Leadership

o Oversee daily operations across winery lodge, tasting bar, chalets, and events.

o Hire, train, and lead front-line and seasonal staff.

o Manage scheduling, performance, and team development.

o Work closely with ownership on growth, events, and strategic initiatives.

Sales & Events

o Drive on-site wine sales and guest experiences.

o Support coordination of weddings, corporate bookings, and private events.

o Strengthen partnerships with tourism, hospitality, and local culinary partners.

Financial & Administrative

o Manage budgets, payroll, and operational targets.

o Track and improve key metrics -- service quality, sales per guest, occupancy, cost control.

o Maintain compliance and uphold safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.

Who You Are

o A natural leader with a passion for hospitality and guest service.

o Experienced in hotels, resorts, wineries, or premium food & beverage environments.

o Calm under pressure, decisive, solutions-focused.

o Strong communicator and motivator.

o Detail-oriented -- nothing gets past you.

o Comfortable working directly with ownership and driving results.
