POSITION: Hospitality Architect COMPANY: Ulto Property Group Inc. Ulto Property Group is a design and development firm engaged primarily in residential and commercial properties throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. Our properties include boutique hotels in the downtown Toronto. Ulto Property Group is looking for a multi-talented, highly energized architect/designer to handle the design of numerous boutique hotel developments. The qualified candidate should be able to adapt to changing circumstances and the challenges of a start-up environment. It is expected of the incumbent to work with minimal supervision as well as handle the other responsibilities as they arise. Responsibilities include: Revising plans for Permit drawings and Construction Documents Sourcing finishes for guest suites and commercial spaces Answering phone calls Operating and administrating the front office Requirements for the position: Minimum 3-5 years experience preferred Enterprising, energetic and outgoing personality with experience in hospitality design Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English, ability to speak other languages an asset Responsible, honest and pride in taking ownership of his/her work Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vray or Podium OBC, City Planning, and Relevant Product Knowledge a plus Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to change Must be able to administrate operations Physical Requirements: Regular lifting of 5-15 lbs and occasionally up to 25-30 lbs. Regular walking up flights of stairs.
