Cobourg, ON.

:


As a Hospital Security Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hospital premises. This includes monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling hospital grounds, responding to incidents, and assisting with emergency procedures.

Responsibilities:

Conduct patient watches and completing the required forms, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to. Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Assist medical staff and fellow Security Professionals in managing disruptive patients or visitors. Maintain daily logs and incident reports. Enforce hospital policies and procedures related to safety and security. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Adhere to strict no electronic device policy

Requirements:

Open availability to pick-up Shifts Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred. Valid Security Licence Minimum 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred. CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations. Physical ability to stand, walk, respond quickly in emergencies, and sit for extended periods of time. Must have a valid Ontario Security License. Must be eligible to work in Canada up to

40

hours a week. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
