We are currently seeking an Exceptional Production Associate to work in a manufacturing setting performing assembly tasks accurately and safely through the utilization of assembly tools/machines in a lean processing environment. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Read and follow STD work procedures throughout all processes \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate safe working habits and follow all safety requirements \xc2\xb7 Plan, evaluate, set up, and run required equipment for the hose line \xe2\x80\x93 saws, crimpers, pushers, flushers and verifies compliance. \xc2\xb7 Plan, evaluate, set up, and run required equipment for the tube line \xe2\x80\x93 saws, deburring, cleaning, brazing, endformer, bending, and verifies compliance. \xc2\xb7 Ability to identify and evaluate new products and set up machines per specifications. \xc2\xb7 Ability and knowledge to operate machine controls including recognizing warning devices on machines throughout the process \xc2\xb7 Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards \xc2\xb7 Resolve all possible issues at the production level, and notify management if the problem is not resolvable \xc2\xb7 Communicate and cooperate with management and coworkers \xc2\xb7 Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Qualifications and Experience: \xc2\xb7 Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent \xc2\xb7 Hose/Tube assembly and manufacturing experience \xc2\xb7 Observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, etc. to determine operating conditions \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs) \xc2\xb7 Basic math and measurement skills \xc2\xb7 Basic computer skills, experience w/RF Scanner preferred \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills, punctual and reliable \xc2\xb7 Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; excellent attention to detail/accuracy \xc2\xb7 Good communication skills (both oral & written) \xc2\xb7 Fluid Power/Industrial hose/tube experience preferred Tompkins Canada is an equal opportunity employer offering a competitive compensation including comprehensive benefits.
