We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Horticulturist or Landscape Technician to join our team.

As a Horticulturist or Landscape Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of various landscaping projects. You will work closely with our team to ensure the health and beauty of our clients' gardens and outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help us create vibrant, sustainable landscapes that thrive in our local environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site assessments to determine soil conditions, plant health, and landscape requirements. Design and implement landscaping plans, including plant selection and layout. Install and maintain a wide variety of plants, trees, shrubs, and hardscaping elements. Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and apply appropriate treatments. Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on plant selection and landscape design. Maintain records of plant care, maintenance schedules, and project timelines. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new horticultural techniques.

Qualifications:

Degree or certification in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Botany, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in horticulture, landscape design, or landscape maintenance. Strong knowledge of plant species, soil types, and pest management. Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites.
