Lakeland College is looking for a skilled and creative
Horticultural Technician
to join our Grounds team.

What You Will Do
Maintain and enhance campus grounds through seasonal turf care, planting, pruning, and landscape upkeep
Install, maintain, and repair both hardscapes (paths, patios, retaining walls) and softscapes (gardens, trees, lawns)
Support snow removal and ice control during winter months
Contribute to landscape planning and design projects
Operate equipment safely and assist with daily maintenance and minor mechanical upkeep
What You Will Bring
Diploma in horticulture or a related field
At least two years of hands-on horticulture experience
Knowledge of hardscape and softscape installation methods
Valid Landscape Pesticide Applicators License
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
A positive, team-oriented attitude and leadership ability
Experience with landscape design and software is an asset
