Job Summary

We are seeking a Driller and an HDD locator to join our Horizontal directional drilling and heavy equipment operation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating horizontal drilling equipment to support various construction projects, including horizontal drilling, and other excavation-related tasks. This role requires mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy machinery, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The Driller will play a vital part in ensuring project accuracy, safety, and timely completion.

Responsibilities

Operate drilling equipment, including horizontal drills, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dozers to execute project specifications. Assist with the setup and calibration of drilling machinery to ensure precise operations. Follow safety protocols strictly to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment on-site. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and project progress. Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting and repairs when necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling machinery. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials. Strong understanding of construction processes such as paving, grading, excavation, and site preparation. Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery and other industry-standard equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to heavy equipment operation in construction environments. Prior experience in construction or related fields is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks. Pay: $30.00-$44.74 per hour
