We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage heavy equipment effectively.
Duties
Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials while adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Assist in the maintenance and minor repairs of the truck as needed.
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving and waste transportation.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience in freight transportation or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues on-site.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
