Under the direction of the MN--S Director of Housing, the Homelessness Coordinator will provide direct supports to the Metis citizens with housing team in the development, implementation, and administration of housing programs to support Metis citizens across the province, including providing supervision and direction to assigned staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the MN-S Homelessness Manager.
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and effective homelessness responses throughout Saskatchewan.
Provide Project Management to sub-projects.
Provide guidance and support to organizations in their homelessness proposal initiatives.
Responsible for full budget take-up of the funding to address homelessness, including budgeting, expenses, variance reporting, and program compliance.
As a Homelessness Team Member, develop and set strategic goals and objectives in coordination with the Homelessness Team.
Prepare reports which may include monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on homelessness program delivery.
Prepare and present sub-project executive summaries as needed/requested.
Create and review sub-project documentation and coordination of service delivery to ensure compliance with funding directives and guidelines.
Provide Financial and Activity Monitoring of sub-projects and provide ongoing support to ensure successful project delivery and administration.
Collection of data from subprojects and input of Reaching Home data in RROL and HIFIS as needed.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with housing and service providers across the province.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an administrative role or other similar position
Recognized course in Business Administration or Related studies
Advanced computer skills including knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of available community resources.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of the unique challenges and needs of vulnerable citizens.
Understanding of the factors which contribute to homelessness or risk of homelessness.
Ability to demonstrate a compassionate, solution focused, and client centered approach.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
Experience in data management.
Ability to remain calm and address clients with patience and a caring approach.
Creative problem solving, good organizational, administrative, and multi-tasking abilities.
Understanding of legislation, regulations, standards, and policies.
Additional Requirements:
A valid Saskatchewan driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to our downtown location at 310 20th St E Saskatoon would be required.
