We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in the Shea Heights area with behavioral challenges. Must have own transportation. Employees must feel comfortable around animals as there will be animals in and around the home and the clients will go on outings that include interacting with animals of different types.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized support and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication administration support under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients in the home and out in the community.
- Help with meal preparation and household duties
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Provide assistance with mobility and transportation as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.40 per hour
