We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences of clients. Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, including any changes in health status. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assist with case management tasks, ensuring that all necessary services are coordinated effectively.

Skills

Strong background in caregiving, particularly in assisted living or nursing home settings. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical terminology. Experience working with persons with disabilities and understanding their unique needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to perform meal preparation while considering nutritional guidelines and client preferences. Familiarity with case management processes to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$22.10 per hour

Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift On call Weekends as needed
