We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Helns Haven Community Care Home in Canada. This full-time position plays a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while aligning with our mission of compassionate service.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents' health conditions. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and housekeeping. Support residents with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain accurate records of residents' care plans and progress. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the facility.

Qualifications

Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate. TB Testing Current Certificate of Conduct. Experience in nursing homes or Mental Health settings is highly preferred. Knowledge medication administration is essential. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
