Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Home Support Workers (HSW) to join our amazing team (Full-time, Part-Time, Casual)

Pay would be between $18.54 plus Pandemic pay of $3.00 per hour in addition to rate of pay applies for all hours worked.

Signing bonus: $500 after completing 975 hours

What You will be doing:

• Provide personal care service according to directions on the established care plan or assignment sheet, and ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent.

• Provide personal care that is within the provincial scope of practice
• Perform specialized, client specific procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.

• Understands and implements infection prevention practices.

• Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel

• Complete other tasks as requested

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate and Qualifications:

\xe2\xa6\x81 Possess a certification as a Home Support Worker (HSW)or equivalent through a recognized College or educational institution

\xe2\xa6\x81 Or should have related experience working in LTC, Retirement home or community setting

\xe2\xa6\x81Must have driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a reliable vehicle

\xe2\xa6\x81 Must demonstrate a commitment to safety by providing quality care in accordance with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s mission and vision
