Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills in home repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various tasks that ensure the functionality and aesthetics of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform drywall installation and repair, ensuring smooth finishes and structural integrity. Execute cabinet installation projects, including measuring, cutting, and securing cabinets in place. Lay tile for flooring or backsplashes with precision and care for aesthetics and durability. Conduct carpentry tasks such as building shelves, frames, or custom furniture as needed. Carry out construction painting duties, preparing surfaces and applying paint with attention to detail. Read and interpret schematics for various projects to ensure accuracy in execution. Apply caulking to seal gaps around windows, doors, and other fixtures for improved insulation. Utilize welding techniques for metal repairs or installations when necessary. Operate power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Finish concrete surfaces with skill, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance person services or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of construction techniques and repair methods is essential. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely is required. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively. Must possess physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
