Duties



Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor clients' health status by observing changes in their condition and reporting concerns to healthcare professionals. Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Follow individualized care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records of services provided and any changes in client condition.

Experience



Previous experience as a Home Health Aide/Community Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required. Certification as a Home Health Aide or Community Support Worker completion of a relevant training program is advantageous. Registered Nurse from a Country other than Canada combined with Canadian HealthCare experience will be considered Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed. A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care in a home setting. Must have own vehicle in good working condition and class 5 drivers license

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
