Job Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to clients with diverse needs especially Dementia Care. The ideal candidate will support patients in maintaining their independence and quality of life through personalized care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs.

Duties



Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and medical documentation protocols Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care needs through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities and patient progress securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and hospice support as trained Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer patients while ensuring their comfort and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding when necessary Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment for clients Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Follow all safety protocols including CPR certification and infection control practices

Qualifications



Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care preferred; experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required or highly desirable Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to care plans and safety standards Strong communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration with healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Ability to work flexible hours including live-in employment options if available Valid driver's license preferred for travel between client locations

Pay: $16.66-$18.00 per hour
