Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care to clients with diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, medical needs, and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, long-term care, or home health environments, and possess a strong commitment to patient well-being and dignity. This position involves working closely with clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence.

Duties



Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform vital signs assessments such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature readings Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Operate EMR/EHR systems accurately to document patient information and care activities Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other specialized medical procedures as trained Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning laundry and maintaining a safe environment Support hospice or palliative care needs with sensitivity and professionalism Use equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with patient transfers and mobility

Skills



Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized care Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status promptly CPR certification and familiarity with emergency response procedures Experience working with patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease or dementia is highly desirable Competence in using EMR/EHR systems for accurate recordkeeping Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols Compassionate communication skills tailored to patients' needs and conditions Physical stamina for assisting with mobility tasks such as transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour
