Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes. This position requires a commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others.

Duties

Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living space Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene Support individuals with disabilities or special needs in their daily routines Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or those receiving hospice care

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care preferred Strong background in patient care and caregiving techniques Knowledge of senior care practices and the ability to work effectively with elderly clients Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Familiarity with dementia care strategies is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others live comfortably and independently

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
