Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Home Support Worker to provide full?time care and assistance to an individual in a private household. The role requires professionalism, compassion, and the ability to work independently in a rural home environment. Room and board are available at no cost to the employee.

1 year to less than 2 years of related experience

Responsibilities

Administer bedside and personal care Administer medications as directed Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support regular exercise such as walking Collect specimens when required Feed or assist with feeding Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and menus Provide companionship and emotional support Provide personal care and daily living assistance Shop for food and household supplies Prepare and serve nutritious meals Cook meals according to dietary needs

Transportation / Travel Requirements

Valid driver's licence required

Rural location; transportation may be necessary for errands and appointments
