Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private homes. Your empathetic nature and commitment to care will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their social interaction. Administer medication reminders and assist with daily living tasks. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Support hospice care needs when required, ensuring dignity and comfort for clients in their final stages of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Previous experience in senior care, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Experience working with persons with disabilities is a plus. Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.

Pay: $18.58-$18.87 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
