Martini Town Holiday Sales Rep -

(Seasonal Contract - Nov 26- Dec 31): this is a contract position

Karma Collective is Women's lifestyle apparel and jewelry brand based out of Vancouver, BC. We are all about sharing positivity and inspiration. Made with love, made to inspire.

We have been around for the last 10 years, and sell mainly online, yoga studios and boutiques, and during the summer months you can usually find our booths at the numerous festivals and local market events around the city and across BC and Alberta!

This year we will have a booth at Martini Town for the entire duration of the holiday season (including Dec 24 and Dec 31), and we need some help at the booth. The Market is open 3-10pm each day, and we are looking for a sales rep to help fill in some of the gaps with in the schedule. There would be minimal set-up, so you could just need to show up at 2:30pm each day to get ready for the 3pm opening.

If you love sales, love people, jewelry and clothing, this is a really fun and exciting opportunity as there is commission + tips involved with your compensation.

WHO are we looking for?

We're looking for a

FEMALE high-energy, proactive, highly organized and approachable

part-time sales reps to provide sales support and represent the brand at Martini Towns Holiday Market. The market is indoors, and there is a heater provided, and you do not need to be available the entire stretch between Nov 26-Dec 31, but candidates with more open availability will be reviewed first. You MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DEC 24 and DEC 31.

The successful candidate

must be comfortable and confident working independently,

and be available to work most of the days.

Hours will either be 2:30-10pm

The candidate

MUST ALSO

be comfortable lifting 30lbs.

TRAINING:

will take place during an event we have at the end of October. You must be available on Oct 31, Nov 1 or Nov 2.

We will train you on the spot while working with actual customers, so that you can get a feel for the role. This is a very fun and enjoyable job as long as you are personable, and a quick learner, you will be able to earn a decent commission and tips!

This position is a part-time position

This role will support the business during one of our busiest seasons.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setting up the booth each day, this will be minimal as it will already be set up from day 1 Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk past the booth Providing excellent customer service by sharing our Brand story with each customer, and showcasing the products that we have available Maximizing sales opportunities, learning how to upsell our products Keeping on top of inventory Engage with the local community Maintaining consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards at all times Ensuring adherence to operating and security procedures at all times Keeping knowledge up-to-date of all collections, product information, promotions, and rewards programs at all times Executing opening and closing procedures (set-up, take down, closing inventory).

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 1 years of retail experience is preferable.

Strong interest in small business operations, and jewelry and/or clothing!

Strong customer-service orientation. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Responsible and punctual. Self-starter and curious learner, with a passion for continually improving. Flexible and ability to work longer hours, deal with crowds and to work on Holidays. Be a part of a fast-paced, exciting local business, and meet lots of other entrepreneurs and local business owners
