Job Overview

Ambassadors to ZerOne have a comprehensive understanding of both Hockeyology and Athleticare's products and services. They require exceptional interpersonal and communications skills with a strong focus on customer service. Hockeyology Ambassadors are required to work within the front desk, retail and other service departments and must be flexible to tackle additional support tasks as they may arise including sharpening skates, driving the Zamboni (selected staff) and light cleaning tasks. On the retail side they are responsible for stocking and merchandising, cleaning and maintenance of the retail and front desk environment, and inventory management. This role required an in-depth understanding of Mind Body Registration, operational structure and service offerings within all of ZerOne.

Duties and Responsibilities

? Serve as Ambassadors to ZerOne with a comprehensive understanding of both Hockeyology and Athleticare' products and services.

? Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.

? Work effectively within retail, front desk, and other service departments, displaying flexibility to tackle additional support tasks.

? Stock and merchandise retail products, ensuring attractive presentation and organization.

? Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the retail and front desk environment.

? Sharpen skates (selected staff)

? Possess knowledge of Mind Body Registration system and operational structure of Hockeyology.

? Familiarize themselves with the offerings and services available at Athleticare.

? Act as greeters at the front of Hockeyology, directing traffic and serving as gatekeepers of the entrance.

? Complete opening and closing checklists as required.

? Selected staff will be trained to operate and run the Zamboni, clean, and maintain the ice.

Accountabilities/Reports

? Ambassadors will report to the Manager of Sales, Retail, & Client Care, and the Lead Ambassador during any particular shift.

Assets

? Related or relevant working experience in a Retail or sales environment

? Experience in retail customer service or hospitality services

? Received satisfaction from achieving sales

? Passionate about new technology

? A second language. We welcome any second language.

? Class 5 driver's license required for Zamboni

ZerOne believes in fair and competitive compensation rates for all its employees:

Part-time Positions

? Pay rate: Starting at $17.00 per hour.

? Schedules may vary; the facility is open 7 days a week.

? We require 5 hours a week of availability at a minimum

? Work will be located on-site at West Edmonton Mall Phase 1 on the 1st floor, in the ZerOne Hockeyology facility and WEM Ice Palace.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
