We are a small fast food Hakka Restaurant located in Toronto looking to hire a team member who would like to join our young and quick teami.

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Prep food items according to established recipes and food safety standards Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with sanitation standards Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food handling and safety practices Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently Proficient in cashiering and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability Familiarity with sanitation practices and kitchen experience is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$17.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
