This is a hybrid position requiring 1 day in the office and 4 days from home. We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with a passion for enhancing developer experiences and improving the efficiency of engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

A broad understanding of DevOps tools, application, and cloud software delivery and processes.
Ability to write clean, efficient code and automation across the full lifecycle.
Strong coding experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js.
5 years of production-level software development experience with integrating CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern DevOps patterns.
Proven ability to partner with domain SMEs to analyze, design, and deliver powerful features and capabilities.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Exposure to the Backstage framework is a huge plus.
Experience with customizing an IDP (like Backstage) using React, TypeScript, and/or Node.js.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Familiarity with the full DevOps stack (Git, Jenkins, Ansible).
Experience with security stack tools (SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, debug, and document software, enhancing existing components to meet business needs.
Gather requirements from various communities and communicate the vision of the platform.
Collaborate with teams to integrate with internal platforms or the DevOps stack.
