Property Manager (Business Development)
to help expand our
property management portfolio
and strengthen relationships with Calgary landlords and investors.
Role Overview
The
Property Manager - Business Development
will be responsible for
growing our property management business
by generating new landlord leads, converting prospects into management clients, and overseeing a small portfolio of rental properties. This role is perfect for someone with
real estate, leasing, or property management experience
who also enjoys
sales, networking, and landlord relations
.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
Prospect and engage Calgary landlords, real estate investors, and homeowners seeking property management.
Develop and implement landlord acquisition strategies, including
networking, cold outreach, online lead follow-up, and partnership building
.
Attend local real estate and landlord events to represent KO Realty and generate new business.
Property Management Duties
Oversee a select portfolio of residential properties in Calgary.
Handle leasing activities: tenant showings, applications, screening, lease signings.
Coordinate move-ins, inspections, and maintenance requests.
Ensure compliance with Alberta's
Residential Tenancies Act
and company policies.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain ongoing communication with landlords and tenants.
Provide professional advice to landlords on rental pricing, market conditions, and property improvements.
Deliver exceptional customer service that strengthens long-term relationships.
Qualifications
Previous experience in
property management, leasing, or residential real estate
.
Strong interest in
business development, sales, and landlord acquisition
.
Knowledge of Calgary's rental market and Alberta tenancy laws.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Alberta Real Estate License (Property Management)
