Positions Available:
Staff Dance Teachers
- Lead your own classes and help shape the next generation of dancers! Styles include ballet, tap, jazz, acro, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre, and preschool combo classes.
Substitute Teachers
- Be on-call to step in when needed and bring your energy and expertise to the studio! Perfect for building experience and joining our team.
Key Responsibilities:
o Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate dance classes for students 18 months - 18 years
Teach proper dance technique while fostering a fun and positive learning environment
Choreograph routines and prepare students for annual June recital (staff positions)
Support cross-training programs (Progressing Ballet Technique, Alixa Flexibility)
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio management
Maintain a supportive and inclusive atmosphere in all classes
Participate in monthly team meetings and professional development opportunities
Assist with studio events, competitions, and special programs as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
Prior dance teaching experience or strong dance background with child experience
Ability to work with dancers of various ages and skill levels (toddlers to teens)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team
Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
Preferred:
Experience in multiple dance styles
Background working with recreational and competitive dancers
Familiarity with dance examination systems (RAD, ADAPT, CDTA)
First aid certification or willingness to obtain
