We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight and goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with commercial driving, and the ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts. Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Assist with moving freight within warehouses or loading docks as needed Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities Perform basic mechanical checks and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly

Skills

Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs Experience with moving freight safely using various handling equipment such as forklifts Proven commercial driving skills with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients Ability to operate forklifts and other loading/unloading machinery safely Good organizational skills for managing schedules, routes, and delivery documentation Physical ability to lift, move, or load freight as required during daily operations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 - 90 per week
