Duties

Operate tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmissions, including reefers and dry vans. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Navigate assigned routes efficiently across U.S. territory, adhering to delivery schedules and route plans. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation laws and safety protocols throughout each trip.

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with proven experience in truck driving and route driving Demonstrated proficiency in operating trucks Experience handling various types of freight including refrigerated loads. Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially in freight transportation involving load & unload responsibilities. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to commercial driving and cargo securement Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers
